Clear rules for cardless trials, subscription cancellation and first-payment refunds.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Standard trials last 7 days; eligible referral trials last 14 days instead.
  • Trials are cardless and never automatically become paid subscriptions.
  • Cancel at any time to stop the next renewal.
  • Request a full refund within 7 calendar days after the first successful subscription payment.
  • Renewals and unused time are ordinarily non-refundable, subject to mandatory rights.

1. Free trials

Eligible users receive a 7-day cardless trial. A valid referral link or code may provide a 14-day cardless trial instead.

No card is required, trials do not combine and no charge occurs automatically at expiry. Unless the user deliberately subscribes, the account returns to Storyteller Free.

Trials are limited to one per person, account and workspace. Anansi may refuse or end trials affected by fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts or invalid referrals.

2. Cancelling

Cancel through available subscription tools or email support@anansipro.studio. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, and does not delete the account or content.

Cancel before renewal is processed. If a technical problem prevents cancellation, contact support promptly with the account email and evidence of the attempt.

3. Seven-day first-payment guarantee

Request a full refund within 7 calendar days after the first successful payment for your first Anansi subscription.

The guarantee applies once per customer and not separately to every plan, workspace or provider. It may be refused for fraud, refund abuse, dishonest chargebacks or material breach. Approved refunds may end paid access immediately and return the account to Free.

4. Ordinarily non-refundable

Except where law requires otherwise, refunds are not provided for renewals, unused monthly or annual time, downgrades, cancellation after the refund window, failure to cancel before renewal, or loss of a Founding Member price following a valid cancellation or refund.

5. Incorrect charges and service problems

We investigate duplicate or incorrect charges, payments after a properly completed cancellation, and material failure to provide the purchased Service.

Contact us before a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue. This does not remove rights against a bank, provider, regulator or consumer body.

6. Requesting a refund

Email support@anansipro.studio with the account email, payment date and amount, plan, Paystack or Lemon Squeezy reference, and a short explanation.

7. Payment of refunds

Approved refunds return through the original provider and normally the original payment method. Processing times vary. Paystack advises that refunds commonly take 3 to 10 working days after initiation. International refunds also depend on Lemon Squeezy and the customer's payment method.

Currency conversion, bank charges or rate movements outside Anansi's control may affect a converted amount. Anansi does not deduct a refund administration fee from an approved full refund.

8. Statutory rights

This Policy does not limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where applicable law provides greater protection, it prevails.
